Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration in Zurich
Join us for a magical afternoon as we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, a cherished tradition symbolizing peace, wealth, and family unity. Taking place on the 15th day of the 8th month on the lunar calendar (mid-September), this beloved holiday is an opportunity for families to come together under the full moon.
We invite families in Zurich to join us for a fun-filled, family-oriented event featuring activities for all ages!

Storytelling: The Origin of the Moon Festival Gather round to hear captivating stories about the origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival, with storytelling sessions in Chinese, German, and English.

Craft Your Own Moon Lanterns Parents and children can team up to create colorful and imaginative moon lanterns, lighting up the evening with creativity.

Decorate Holly Rabbits Have fun decorating these traditional symbols of the festival in a hands-on session perfect for participants of all ages.

Moon Cake Fun Children can make their own mooncakes, learning about the traditional process. Meanwhile, everyone gets to enjoy tasting authentic mooncakes—a delicious treat for the whole family!

Guess Lantern Riddles Engage in a fun and interactive guessing game, solving traditional lantern riddles with your family.

Parent-Child Obstacle Run & Games Join in thrilling obstacle courses and games that encourage teamwork, family bonding, and lots of laughter.

Costs: CHF 25 per family of kids of our school. External families: CHF 40 per family (inkl. some soft drinks, snacks und crafting material and moon cakes).
