Two LittleMandarin Students Selected for the 2026 Junior Cultural Ambassadors Programme in China
We are delighted to share that two LittleMandarin students were selected to participate in the 2026 Junior Cultural Ambassadors programme organized by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation.
Since its launch in 2021, the programme has brought together young participants (10+ years old) from around the world to experience Chinese culture firsthand and build friendships across cultures. This year’s programme officially opened in Beijing on 29 June 2026, welcoming 45 children from 25 countries.
To qualify, participants submitted a video showcasing their interest in Chinese language and culture. We are incredibly proud that two of our students were invited to represent Switzerland and take part in this unique cultural exchange.
Before their departure, LittleMandarin held a special celebration on 31 May for all students who participated in the competition. Together with their families, they enjoyed making Chinese dumplings. We wanted every child to experience the joy of Chinese culture and celebrate their hard work.
At the end of June, our two young ambassadors travelled to China for an unforgettable week filled with cultural workshops, traditional arts, performances, sightseeing, and exchanges with children from around the world. It was an inspiring experience that strengthened their Chinese language skills while creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
We are incredibly proud of all the students who took part in this year’s competition. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for learning Chinese are exactly what LittleMandarin strives to nurture.
We hope to see even more children participate in next year’s Junior Cultural Ambassadors programme and seize this wonderful opportunity to discover China, experience its rich culture, and become true global citizens.
