LittleMandarin School’s teachers committed to children’s safety. Preschool and Mandarin Activity Club teachers took part in another intensive training session focused on children’s first aid and injury care. They listened attentively, practiced CPR repeatedly, and reviewed emergency response procedures for common accidents—paying close attention to every detail. Even after a full day, our teachers remained focused and dedicated, driven by one goal: to be calm, professional, and prepared when it matters most.

As language teachers, both verbal and non-verbal communication are crucial tools to model effective interaction and support our students’ growth and confidence. We are very proud to have participated in a recent team-building event focused on body language and mimicry, further enhancing our skills to connect with and inspire our students.
✅ The key positions of the body, from head to toe, and their impact on communication.
✅ How facial expressions can encourage trust, empathy, and engagement.
✅ Practical techniques tailored for working with children in the classroom to foster better understanding and connection. This workshop was an excellent opportunity to strengthen our communication skills while building a deeper sense of teamwork. It’s inspiring to see how small adjustments in body language can make a big difference in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for our students.

In the second session of the training, Mrs. Xiao introduced our school’s various programs and their corresponding teaching contents, from theme songs to word recognition, from concentration exercises to sensory training, summarizing our school’s diversified teaching content and methods. Through this hands-on demonstration training, all teachers will continue to inject new elements into their classrooms, try out new methods, and improve the quality of Chinese teaching through continuous reflection.

In this training, Principal Mrs. Xiao first outlined the system of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and reinforced the linguistic knowledge of this discipline through games. Then, the focus was on the theory of children’s language acquisition and its reflection in teaching methods. Mrs. Xiao emphasized the importance of comprehensible input and introduced the TPR (Total Physical Response) language teaching method, demonstrating on-site how to progressively implement it in second language teaching to achieve the best results.
