Happy Chinese New Year of Rabbit!
We were very pleased to have had 30 families attending our this year’s Chinese New Year Party in Zurich! The kids and their parents had a great time with our activities!

The Chinese year of Rabbit will begin on the 22 January 2023. The Chinese Spring Festival 春节 or Chinese New Year 新年 is the most important celebration in China and many Asian countries. On this day, the children and adults will wear red clothes, give/receive red pockets and eat Jiaozi (Chinese dumplings) together. We would like to invite you and your family to celebrate this festival with us with the following activities:
- Learning: Storytelling of customs around Chinese New Year (Chinese, German, English)
- Crafting: zodiac handcraft, paper-cutting, lanterns and red pockets
- Writing: 1 to 5 and the word “Spring Festival” 春节
- Singing: Chinese new year related themes
- Cooking and Eating: Making of Chinese rice dumplings 汤圆

Time: 2pm-5pm
Location: Bullingerstrasse 60, 8004 Zürich
Costs: CHF 15 per family of kids of our school. External families: CHF 30 per family (incl. some soft drinks, snacks, crafting material and rice dumplings).
